Road Tripping 2023

Finding your soul is like paying a toll that only a select few will cough up. It’s like embarking on a marathon with no finish line, stumbling upon dead ends when you least expect them. The rollercoaster ride through the valleys of the unknown can either petrify you or propel you toward growth.

If you let it, fear can make you feel as small as a mouse. But pretending it doesn’t exist? That’s like trying to ignore a mosquito buzzing in your ear.

Gary Zukav, a best-selling author, once said something that stuck with me. He spoke of a tipping point when the discomfort of continuing in a certain way becomes more unbearable than the discomfort of stopping. It’s like realizing you’ve been wearing shoes a size too small all your life.

Once you’ve had this epiphany, you can’t un-have it. You’re left with a choice: keep squeezing into those tight shoes, or kick them off and wiggle your toes in relief.

Now, I find myself in a chapter of life I didn’t exactly sign up for. It’s like being thrust onto the center stage without a rehearsal. Single parenting is a role that’s as challenging as it is rewarding.

Then there’s the ticking clock.
