Friday Flow 8/27- You are already enough, and this moment is where you meet your true, whole self.

I sat there and thought about what I wanted to write for this flow. It still feels weird pouring my feelings into the world. But here I am, sharing experiences from life in hopes to let others know they are never alone.

After two weeks of consistent meditation, which has been a game-changer in my life as far as reducing stress, anxiety, and reactivity, I thought about the things in life I wish I heard growing up.

I also spent an entire week with my daughter and created memories that will last a lifetime. So, today’s flow sparked some deep feelings and is all about those things I wish I heard earlier in life.

I wish I heard…

I wish I heard before I started running in life that there was nowhere to go. That the only steps in life that mattered most were the ones aligned with my heart and dreams.

I wish someone had told me whenever I felt lost, broken, and scared in life to close my eyes and take a few deep breaths. I wish I heard I was enough in life. I wish I heard that everything I would eventually seek in life could only be found by sitting with myself.
