In life, there are many dances- the foxtrot of joy in happiness from laughter and love, the tango of purpose, the waltz of revolving souls bound together by stories, and somatic expression by dancing free. Being human means experiencing every dance life has to offer, and there is no right or wrong way to dance.

Music is known to be medicine for the soul. Crafted by delicate emotions, music provides a superpower to a source greater than oneself. When two souls combine their love for music, the results are profound. Lovers give wings to their hearts. Sadness finds a charm. Chaos turns to order, and life slows down. It’s become a passion and purpose of mine to create art in the form of poetry and prose so others can find dances that call them to the freedoms they seek. I have learned to dance with my emotions.

In Nowhere To Go, I use poetry, prose, and reference music throughout the book. The reason is simple to explain and understand- music is the one thing we can all relate to when life sneaks up…
