Friday Flow 7/23/21- Start believing and you’ll start seeing

Cloudy Day On Top Of Mount Moosilauke

The last few weeks felt like an endless sea of storms — waves of limiting beliefs collided with thoughts of yesterday and tomorrow while drifting me far from the present. I’m not sure if it’s all of the rain we have had or just a series of past events stuck deep within my body, but I have come so far over the last few years, and know when my body feels like this, I need to detach and getaway to nature.

Most of the time, when I give myself some space to reflect, I come face to face with my fears.

Our mind is so powerful. It can be both a protagonist and antagonist in the stories we create. Whenever we feel heavy, we must discover how to let our mind guide us in the direction our heart wants to go rather than resist.

Yesterday, I woke up early and drove to the White Mountains to meet my inner world. My body was craving adventure and a connection with nature to separate from the sense of heaviness I had within.

I arrived at the mountain at 6 am, with not a soul around. As I started to go deeper into the woods, the sounds of the flowing brook and whistling trees reminded me that nature is a gift.
