Stop Climbing The F*cking Success Ladder
Lost In The Algorithms — Odyssey # 67
As the dust settles from the whirlwind of securing my pro card, I find myself deeply reflective. Lacing up for my first baseline mile test since last fall, I was struck by a potent mix of satisfaction and a relentless craving for more.
Then there’s the aftermath of my victory feast — I indulged like a king and ended up ten pounds heavier, likely all water weight. But who’s really counting? Sometimes, just like in life, you need to feed the beast to appreciate the beauty.
Success, as crazy as it is, has only sharpened my appetite for what’s next.
Here I am, six weeks out from possibly stepping back onto the stage and plotting the next leap for my entrepreneurial journey. It’s a mad dash, this blend of muscle and mindset, sweat on the stage, and strategy on the interwebs.
As I pounded the pavement, each step was beat in a rhythm of introspection—how far I’ve come and how much further I can push. The crisp and expectant air seemed to fuel my thoughts, inhales drawing in possibility, and exhaling casting out a doubt.
Success is always shadowed by some resistance, some inner fire urging you to push harder, aim higher, and be more.
