What It Feels Like To Write Today

I might’ve mentioned throwing in some occasional marketing wisdom amid my usual rants. So here I am, diving headfirst into this copywriting thing. Picture me, nestled in a co-op space with more drama than my last novel, playing the part of a wordsmith for hire. It’s a wild shift from my usual dance with caffeine and rebellious prose, but you know, gotta keep the dream alive and the bills paid.

In this crazy digital world, where short videos are the new royalty, and my beloved words are scrambling in the background like underdogs, I’ve got to lace up my gloves and step into the ring.

If I don’t, I might just end up as a memory on the ‘writers who almost made it’ shelf.

Why’s this important, you ask?

In the high-stakes game of copywriting, the headline is your opening act, your best joke, your killer hook. Nail it, and you’re the hero; miss it, and it’s straight to the digital dumpster with your masterpiece.

Let’s face it, we’re living in times where a goldfish could outdo us in a staring contest. In this never-ending stream of digital blah-blah, your headline needs to be the shining beacon in a sea of dull.
