Why It’s Never Too Late To Be Whoever You Want To Be

Life comes and goes
every day we face
the unknown.

Who am I
when I dig
below?

Through all my struggles, I’m discovering how to dig deeper and find myself, though most of what I uncover below the surface isn’t pretty. It’s dark, unpleasant, and painful.

I’ve learned what my triggers are. Some of them are easy to find, others not so much. Diving deeper makes me question everything I see.

When you wonder why your life is filled with chaos and sitting in the calm doesn’t feel right? It’s a good sign you don’t trust yourself and are letting your wounds shape your expectations of life.

Whenever our core needs aren’t met we get cautious of the world and disguise our struggles with an obsession to fix ourselves. The chase to grow is interesting because it makes us feel as if we are never enough.

We guard our true desires with protection mechanisms to make ourselves feel accepted in a world that appears more disconnected than ever. Perfectionism, improvement, and the constant need to go somewhere in life are attempts to find things on our journey.
