Heartless In Time

I hear my heart screaming for you to call my name
Silent thoughts at 2 am, going insane
I’m diving in headfirst, no reverse
Creating words with my hands
We’ll never see each other again

I miss the look you gave me when we
Woke up together drinking coffee
Before the sunrise and the way
You told me I was changing the world
With my words
And I inspired your life

Every word I write is another way
To discover more about myself
And the things I never dared to say
How did this happen
I can’t imagine

I didn’t mean to blame you
I was scared too
Is love dead
What comes next

Can’t find enough words
to show love
in a poem
I let go
Release my breath
I don’t have much time left
