Early Morning Flow

I never thought I’d be writing a series about my life. Each verse provides light as I find the courage to step between the spaces I am afraid to enter. Like the eternal battle between sea and shore from years of storms that merge with the land, my walls come down, and I surrender.

What is transforming in front of me is ancient, as I enter the spaces I have avoided much of my life. In between is what life is about. Not the lost version of myself or the future version, but the man who is writing at this moment as words pour from the depths of his heart and soul.

Time slows down, and I feel everything that has been silently tucked away. With every exhale, I can release the identities that do not serve me. To step into this space between, and realize how difficult the life I am choosing is and will continue to be. There is no going back now as I follow the deep unwavering wisdom that is mine to own.

The spaces between are our partners in life. We tend to avoid these spaces because we are afraid of what we might find, but eventually, the spaces will always find us.
