There’s a reason we keep searching for a higher meaning in this relentless world. For many people, the pursuit of happiness is often the wrong canvass in the portrait of life. They get caught up creating art with the same colors, worried about the outcome and what others will think, rather than letting their hearts flow with the vibrant opportunities in front of them.
I wrote about this concept in Nowhere To Go and how our purpose in life is not defined by what we do; it’s who we are, how we feel, and an expression of how we live our lives at this very moment.
Yet, we exist in a world shuffling pages of our past only to find the same story repeated in new characters and chapters. We run from place to place with nowhere to go. Our lives kind of just happen to us. We disconnect from our true selves. We avoid any chance of feeling into the choices our hearts want to create.
