Lost In The Algorithms — Odyssey # 70

The post-competition blues hit me like a freight train. Instead of riding the high, I’m wrestling with the age-old question—where do I go from here?

Life is a brutal mistress.

I’m a writer, an entrepreneur, a father — hell, just a man trying to make sense of the whirlwind. Now, here I am, caught up in a meta maelic about writing itself. If this isn’t diving headfirst into a metaphysical rabbit hole, then I’m not sure what is.

They say the secret to life, or anything really, is just showing up. But let’s get real — that’s just motivational poster fodder for people who never actually do anything.

And I’m not about to be that guy, the one who looks back and wonders, “What if?”

I’m standing at a crossroads.

Do I grab life by the horns — or more accurately, do I man up and use the cojones I’ve been given to attract this life?

Because somewhere beyond the resistance, something is waiting.

Fuck it. I’m writing this and letting the chips fall where they may. Because that’s life. That’s writing. And hell, that’s just about everything else that counts.
