A Letter To My Future Self
Wherever you are in the universe, here are some valuable lessons a younger version of you would like to pass on.
Stop running. You’ve run your entire life. Hiding from your pain has put you through depression, and many unfortunate events that almost caused the end of your life. If you begin to see things as they are, you will be the warrior you were meant to be.
Instead of fight what life has given you, why not take every moment as a blessing. You did not come this far just to come this far.
Be vulnerable and stop being a puppet of life. You are a warrior, but most of all, human. Show the world that you can be strong while holding space for what you feel.
It’s okay to cry. Seriously, that shit is powerful and amazing.
Take a moment to breathe. If you don’t, you’ll live in a constant state of anxiety and depression. You don’t have to do everything yourself. Stop trying to be busy because we both know you are not productive.
Money is not the root of all evil, but you must stop chasing it. If you lack money, remember you have the power to make more. If you are rich, remember where you came from.
Forgiveness is hard, but you’ll be a better man if you make an effort to forgive all the people in life that have hurt you.
