A Cocktail of Chaos, Combat, and Chasing Ghosts

Lost In The Algorithms- Daily Oddysey # 15

Last week, meandering through Boston’s bookstore aisles, I was on a quest for anything to drown out the noise. Then, it happened. A dark and intriguing cover caught my eye.

Bodies entwined, lost in the abyss. It was Dante’s “Inferno,” a title that screamed mystery and depth, two things I’ve got to know really well.

Knowing squat about Dante, I was lured by the siren call of this literary relic. One line gripped me: “In the middle of the journey of our life, I found myself within a dark woods where the straight way was lost.”

Talk about life imitating art — or is it the other way around?

As I dove into the epic, I realized…this wasn’t just some ancient poem. It was a reflection of my twisted journey. A map of my personal hell.

And this path? It’s more twisted than a politician’s promise.

A journey to emptiness.

We climb the ladder of success, only to find it’s leaning against the wrong wall. We lose parts of ourselves. Creativity. Spirituality. Relationships. Then we wonder why we feel like lost souls in a world we thought we knew.
