Breathwork And Emotional Release

Listen on podcast

Last weekend I had a transformational experience by attending a breathwork teacher training course. It was so powerful to hold space for others, accept all of who I was with no judgment, and let go of everything that felt heavy.

The entire weekend was based on the idea that we are enough.

It's interesting because we never see things as they are, we see things as we are, which usually means we have a hard time seeing our self-worth. But transformational breathwork puts you in the moment to feel everything you need to feel because breathwork is the relationship with ourselves.

When you change the patterns of your breathing, you change the relationship that matters the most- yourself.

If you are reading my words, it means you have chosen to make an effort to honor everything you want to become. Let’s do a little visualization.

Close your eyes and breathe for a bit. Notice what you feel. Are you anxious, stressed? Are you shallow in your breath? It’s all okay, awareness is the first step.

Now, let’s just play with some regular breathing to see how you feel. Breathe in through your nose for a count of 3–5 seconds, and exhale for a count of 3–5 seconds. Try that for 3 full cycles.
